A HEADTEACHER has paid tribute to ‘delightful pupil’ Claire Braithwaite, who has died suddenly.

In a statement, Ian Potter, of Bay House School in Gosport, said: ‘The school community is deeply saddened.

‘Her generosity to offer help, or simply pass some sociable time with other pupils, was a real strength.

‘Claire had a lovely sense of humour and was a highly-valued friend among her year group.

‘Our collective thoughts are with Claire’s family and her friends as we, with them, try to come to terms with such devastating news.’
