A SUPERVISOR at a bus firm was reunited with his favourite coach.

First Bus’ Hoeford depot supervisor David York, from Rowner, Gosport, was previously a coach driver with Greyhound.

His wife Kim arranged for him to be able to pick up the coach, called Proud Mary, for the Provincial Society bus rally in Stokes Bay this month.

David said: ‘It felt like my head would explode with excitement and joy.’

Kim added: ‘We brought her all the way back, parked her close to our house and gave her a bit of a bath before taking her to the rally. It was very emotional to see what this meant to David.’
