AN 800-mile journey saw four family members raise more than £1,000.

Harry Clewlow, Scott McDonough, Steve Davies and Luke Davies cycled from John O’Groats to Lands End, finishing the eight-day journey on Sunday.

They were raising money for Kidney Research and the Alzheimer’s Society.

Their family travelled down to Lands End from Gosport to see them across the finish line.

Their aunt Debbie Beattie said: ‘We are so proud of them.

‘They beat their fundraising target and seeing them go across the finish line was amazing.’

This was the first time the group had attempted a challenge of this magnitude.
