FOOTBALL fans are in for a treat as a charity tournament is set to return for its 14th year.
The annual event pits six teams of five-a-side against each other to raise money for the NSPCC.
Players from Fareham and Gosport will compete.
Event organiser Brian Dunlop, 46, said: ‘The tournament is a popular thing in our community.
‘Most of the players know each other and there is a lot of banter and rivalry over the cup.’
A representative of Portsmouth Football Club will present the winners with the cup and there will be a raffle, auction and disco to raise money for the charity that protects vulnerable children.
Mr Dunlop said: ‘Every child deserves a life.’
The tournament takes place on Saturday, September 20 at St Vincent Leisure Centre, Mill Lane, Gosport from 10am to 4pm.
The evening events take place at Hill Park Memorial Working Men’s Club, Highlands Road, Fareham.
Tickets for the evening cost £3.
