GOSPORT MP Caroline Dinenage has launched her own apprenticeship scheme.

Ms Dinenage is looking for an apprentice to work with her at her Gosport constituency office.

The successful candidate will be given a 24-month apprenticeship.

It will combine job training with an NVQ in business and administration.

All candidates need is a passion for politics and GCSE maths and English at grade A* to C.

Ms Dinenage said: ‘Apprenticeships are great news for both employers and young people, and I’ve long campaigned for more apprenticeship opportunities.

‘Now I’m delighted to be able to turn words into action by appointing my very own apprentice.

‘It’ll be a fantastic opportunity for a young person from our area to combine real on-the-job political experience with a decent qualification, which will equip them fully for their future career.’
