ARMED forces charities welcomed Caroline Dinenage and spoke to her about the work they do.

The Gosport MP visited Castaway House in Portsmouth to meet staff and volunteers from a number of charities including the Royal Naval Benevolent Trust, Seafarers UK and the Naval Families’ Federation.

Ms Dinenage said: ‘With such a large armed forces community, it is incredibly reassuring to know that we have fantastic charities operating in their interest. At Castaway House there are organisations to meet the needs of a wide range of people.’
