AIR raid sirens will sound out over Priddy’s Hard this weekend at a war-themed museum event.

The Explosion! Museum of Naval Firepower is holding its annual Spirit of the 40s weekend today and tomorrow.

Around 200 actors will recreate a wartime atmosphere at the former Royal Navy arms depot.

Gunners will give demonstrations of firepower and there will be mock battles.

There is also a themed dance in the evening.

The site opens at 10am and closes at 4.30pm.

Tickets bought on the day cost £10 for adults or £5 for concessions.
