TWO charities will benefit from the sale of clothes, bric-a-brac and jewellery.

Julie Scarborough, from Widley, regularly opens up her home to flog bargains in aid of local good causes.

She hopes that after Saturday’s sale she will have raised £1,000 each for Queen Alexandra Hospital’s Rocky Appeal and Naomi House children’s hospice, in Winchester.

Clothes prices start from 30p. The sale, at 9 The Crest, begins at 10am and finishes at 1pm.

Entry is 50p for adults and children under 12 go free.
