The season starts this year with Top Gun on May 27 at the family’s farm in Droxford, in the South Downs National Park.

Sarah Mulcare, from Film on a Farm, said: ‘Chris’ main passion and focus is farming, however being highly commercial and entrepreneurial he felt the need to scratch that diversification itch.

‘In his spare time he has always enjoyed acting and singing, having performed at St Pauls Cathedral, Darlington Civic Theatre and Winchester Theatre Royal as well as being front man for his university band.

‘So entertainment and farming go hand in hand with him.

‘Chris is also hugely passionate about rural life and one of the great things for him about Film on a Farm is the ability to offer such an enjoyable night out for people who live in the countryside as well enabling people from urban backgrounds to come and share in the beautiful countryside surroundings.’

The farm will also be showing Mamma Mia, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Lion King, Notting Hill and Grease.
