A NEW project tackling homelessness has launched in Gosport.

The Heart for Homeless initiative is being run by Churches Together and aims to help vulnerable people in the borough.

Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage is supporting the group.

She said: ‘By offering emotional support, advice on entering employment and access to leisure activities, I’m confident that this initiative will help to rebuild the confidence of those who fall on hard times.’

The group needs volunteers to join its committee, be activity leaders and employment advisors.
