THE winner of the 2013 Best Film award were A Hero’s Journey by Riyadh Haque and John McGinty.

This film is about a fairytale hero rescuing a kidnapped princess. There’s a twist but I won’t spoil it for you. It was chosen for its originality and quality.

The nominees for this award all come from Portsmouth FIlm Society’s Shorts Cut competition.

Also nominated in this category were: Mutant Monks from Outer Space by Harry Bartholomew and Wesley Skelly, A Can is Born by Paul Gonella, Oki Usagi by Jinx Prowse, Best Intentions by Jack Darcy Searle and Space is Dark by Mark Wade.
