Those taking part collectively burned 12,600 calories during their slog and raised £827.40.

Hotel manager Jeanette Blanchett said: ‘My team and I are delighted to have completed a half marathon bed-push around Portsmouth.

‘It was no easy task, but the support that we got from the locals around the city was outstanding.

‘The cheers and support really motivated us to get to the finishing line.’
