Hamshire County Council given grant for new tablets in libraries
DISADVANTAGED people will be able to benefit from new tablet computers in libraries.
Hampshire County Council’s library service will start the new lending service to help tackle social isolation and improve digital literacy, after being awarded £238,324 from Arts Council England.
Up to 100 tablets will be purchased for the year-long project.
