WITH 45 years under its belt, a charity shop is still going strong.

Oxfam, in Lee-on-the-Solent, had a celebration lunch earlier this week to mark 45 years of trading in the area.

Staff and volunteers, including area manager Veronica Roymond, gathered at the charity shop, on Pier Street, to mark the occasion.

And the staff were also celebrating the long-serving members of the team.

During the afternoon, four of the volunteers received certificates thanking them for their work.

Three volunteers, Linda Tomlin, Pam Norman and Joy Sellers have been with Oxfam for at least 23 years.

And Brenda Savage has been dedicating time to the store for 34 years.
