CLASSMATES of young Liam Cranley, who has cystic fibrosis, organised a cake sale in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The pupils at Bosmere Junior School, in Havant, raised £160 through the tasty sale in their school.

On top of that, Liam’s girlfriend Summur Ford donated an additional £70 which she raised on her own by washing cars.

Sarah Woolrich, Liam’s mum, 39, of St Francis Place, Havant, said: ‘The cake sale went well and it was so sweet of Summur to raise money off her own back, she’s a lovely girl.’

All the money will be added to funds already raised by Liam’s aunt Charlotte Woolrich.

Charlotte aims to collect at least £2,000 for CFT before she runs the London Marathon in aid of the charity. See justgiving.com/charlotte-Woolrich0
