A MOTHER will shave her head to raise money for Cancer Research in memory of her grandmother.

Sara Vincent, 27, of Hursley Road, will shear off her locks at the Cancer Research shop in West Street, Havant, on Saturday at 1pm.

Her grandmother, Mary Neale, passed away just before Christmas shortly after being diagnosed with cancer.

Miss Vincent has raised £400 already and hopes to break the £500 mark.

She said: ‘My nan was a very kind-hearted lady and always put other people before herself.

‘Christmas was hard but she got to spend time with my 11-month-old daughter Eleanor before she died.’
