Have your say

PEOPLE can have their say about the problems affecting them at a meeting tonight.

The Fareham town community action team meeting takes place in the Octagon Lounge at Ferneham Hall.

At the meeting, people will be given updates from the police about what is happening in the area.

Hampshire County Council will give a presentation to update the progress of the street light improvement programme.

Residents can then have their say on the proposed improvements to the Park Lane recreation ground.

They can also ask councillors any questions they may have at the end of the meeting.

The chairman of the meeting, Councillor John Bryant, said: ‘Community action team meetings are an excellent place for residents to talk about issues in their area.

‘They can also discuss ideas for improving their community, including ones which could be supported through the council’s community fund.’

The meeting runs from 7pm until 8.30pm.
