CHARITIES will be fundraising by selling goods at a Christmas fair.

The Hayling Lions have hired Hayling Island Community Centre and offered stalls to charities and voluntary organisations for free on Saturday from midday to 3pm.

There will be antiques, collectables, gifts, and games.

There will also be refreshments available throughout the day.

Derek Knight, from the Lions, said: ‘There are so many kind and caring people who in their own way try to help others.

‘To enhance this attitude the Lions decided to organise the Christmas fair and to invite as many other voluntary organisations as possible to join with them.’

Entrance is 50p. To find out more call (023) 9246 2689 or (023) 9235 1271 after 6pm.
