A 450-MILE bike ride challenge has been launched to raise cash for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

The charity, which receives no government funding, flies 24 hours a day, seven days a week and needs £4,000 a day to stay afloat.

Now it is appealing for volunteers to take part in the 11-day fundraising trip in Vietnam and Cambodia in 2016.

The charity has launched the challenge as its popular Kilimanjaro climb taking place in February has already raised £100,000.
