HELP is on hand for anyone wanting to find out more about skin cancer and staying safe under the sun.

Macmillan Cancer Support’s mobile service is stopping off at Portsmouth on Wednesday, July 1.

Its team will be encouraging everyone to stay safe in the sun and raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of skin cancer.

They will be setting up in Commercial Road, Portsmouth from 10am to 4pm.

No appointment is necessary, and anyone is welcome who has any concerns or questions relating to cancer and skin health.

The team are unable to perform skin or mole checks and advise residents to visit their GP if concerned about any skin changes.

Anyone who cannot visit the unit on Wednesday, July 1 but has questions about cancer, or wants to find out more about the associated risks or signs and symptoms of skin cancer and malignant melanoma, can visit macmillan.org.uk.
