AN AIR ambulance charity that serves Hampshire says it will potentially save thousands of pounds from tax relief.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance said it was pleased with the announcement by chancellor George Osborne.

Chief executive Alex Lochrane said: ‘These VAT savings will be redirected back to the charity so that we can continue to improve our service, delivering the highest standard of patient care to the people of Hampshire.’
