Award for member of Portsmouth health board

A MAN who has dedicated nine years of voluntary work to Portsmouth's health services has spoken of his delight at being recognised with an award.

Portsmouth Clinical Commissioning Group lay member Tom Morton was recognised with a Civic Award by the new Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Councillor David Fuller.

He said: ‘I felt enormously fortunate and very humbled to have been recognised with this award, especially as there are so many other deserving members of the public who are working tirelessly in a voluntary capacity for and on behalf of the city.’
