PEOPLE are invited to take part in a course to help them understand the problems faced by dementia sufferers.

It is being run by the Alzheimer’s Society and will feature a talk from people living with dementia, what support people need and how the community can work together to help those with the disease.

The two-hour session takes place on March 6 from 1.30pm at the Gosport Discovery Centre, in High Street.

The charity said that 1,133 in Gosport live with dementia.

It is free to attend but people need to email glenn.duggan@parliament.uk to register interest in going.
