A BOOT camp-style exercise session is being held on Southsea seafront for charity.

Diabetes Research and the Wellness Foundation are encouraging people to take part in Blast-Off Boot Camp on Sunday.

It’s one hour of intense exercise led by two professional personal trainers who will be offering their expertise.

The charity hopes that those taking part will donate to help research into the killer condition which affects 2.8m in the UK. It is estimated around 850,000 have it, but don’t know it.

The event starts at 11am at Castle Field. For more information call 07708 766084 or email blastoffbootcamp@hotmail.co.uk.

Places are limited so registration is required.
