BLOOD donors are being asked to come forward and help save lives.

The latest sessions for people to donate blood have been given by NHS Blood and Transplant.

The NHS needs regular supplies of blood to help many people, including accident and emergencies and for pregnant women.

People can donate blood on the following dates, places and times:

n Monday, May 28, at the Holiday Inn, Cartwright Drive, Titchfield, Fareham, from 1.30pm to 3.25pm and 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

n Tuesday, May 29, at St Swithun’s Church, Waverley Road, Southsea, from 1.30pm to 3.25pm and 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

n Thursday, May 31, at the Portchester Community Centre, Westlands Grove, Portchester, from 1.30pm to 3.25pm and 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

n Friday, June 1, at the Cosham Community Centre, Wootton Street, Cosham, from 1.30pm to 3.25pm and 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
