BRYAN Chandler is determined to put autism in a positive light.

Bryan has Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism, and is keen to show people that a normal life is possible for people with the condition.

He said: ‘I’d like to express to the world that those with autism can work, and can be independent with the right support.’

He works as a marketing assistant for a company called Edu-Care Recycling and another company called Training Links.

‘There’s so many stereotypes about Asperger’s and so many misconceptions that I would like to help prove otherwise. I’m on a mission to make a change, and I’ve started doing so with the help of social media,’ he added

Bryan has started a Facebook page called Asperger Syndrome Awareness.

He is encouraging people with the syndrome, or friends and relatives – or anyone with an interest – to join the group and help him raise awareness.

The facebook group can be found at facebook.com/AspergerSyndromeAwareness?fref=ts
