A NEW campaign group has been launched to fight the planned changes to the NHS.

The Save Our NHS in Portsmouth campaign is hoping to show the government the strength of feeling against the planned reforms.

Organisers, who include NHS workers, are worried reforms are being rushed through without being tried out first. They are also against certain changes such as the proposed plans to allow private companies to compete to provide healthcare.

The campaign is being backed by Unison, which also opposes the reforms.

Members of the public are being invited to join the campaign and help gather a petition to send to the government.
