GOSPORT MP Caroline Dinenage has welcomed the bishop’s pledge to deliver justice to those affected by unexpected deaths at the now defunct rehabilitation wards at Gosport War Memorial Hospital.

Ms Dinenage said: ‘This is a really important announcement because for the first time it will help bring families together.

‘There is not a list held anywhere of all the patients and families affected by this.

‘This panel is right for the families as they will finally get the justice they feel they deserve for their loved ones. It’s only right this panel gets to the bottom of these tragic events.

‘I’m glad Bishop James Jones is heading this because he united families from the Hillsborough disaster and got to the truth.’
