A SERVICE of thanksgiving is being held to mark the 20th anniversary of a hospice.

The Rowans Hospice will hold the event at the Portsmouth Anglican Cathedral in High Street, Old Portsmouth, on Sunday.

The service is an opportunity to reflect on the past 20 years and what it hopes to provide in the future.

The Rowans Hospice Community Choir will perform, along with members of Portsmouth Cathedral Choir.

Chief executive of the hospice Ruth White said: ‘The 20th anniversary is a platform for celebration and offers an opportunity to thank and appreciate those who have supported us in the past, in the present and into the future.

‘We hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you there.’

The service will last for around 45 minutes and will include hymns and readings with an address by The Bishop of Portsmouth Christopher Foster.

The service starts at 2pm. To attend, email info@rowanshospice.co.uk
