A SERIES of public meetings are being held to discuss dementia.

The events are being hosted by Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust (PHT), which runs Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.

Throughout May the free meetings will be held throughout south-east Hampshire.

Those attending will get the chance to talk to elected members of the PHT’s council of governors and a trust representative.

People can tell governors their opinions about the hospital and experience specifically around dementia.

The meetings take place at the following dates, places and times:

n Friday, May 8, Lecture Theatre in QA, Portsmouth, from 2pm to 4pm.

n Tuesday, May 12, The Richmond Room, in Waterlooville Community Centre, Maurepas Way, Waterlooville, from 6pm to 8pm.

n Wednesday, May 20, Ferneham Hall, Osborn Road, Fareham, from 7pm to 9pm.

n Friday, May 22, Thorngate Halls, Bury Road, Gosport, from 2pm to 4pm.
