PEOPLE are being given the chance to learn more about mental health services run in the Portsmouth area.

Monday is the start of Mental Health Awareness Week and Solent NHS Trust is hosting a series of activities.

On Monday, May 13, there will be drop-in sessions for wellness checks at St James’ Hospital, Locksway Road, Milton, from noon to 3pm.

On Tuesday, May 14, there will be question time for board members at St James’ Hospital, from 6pm to 7.30pm.

On Thursday, May 16, learn about mindfulness at St James’ Hospital, from 10am to 11am.

On Friday, May 17 it’s the launch of the Solent NHS Trust choir at St James’ Hospital, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
