PREPARE to be bowled over at a charity cricket match.

The Charity Cricket Day in Southsea is to take place on August 24, in St Helen’s Field, Eastern Parade.

It will start at 1pm and people are invited to come along and spend some time watching cricket.

The event has been organised by Portsmouth Cricket Club to raise funds for The Rowans Hospice in Purbrook which helps people with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
