STAFF at a Southsea department store have raised more than £2,400 for a special needs nursery.

Employees of John Lewis presented a cheque to the manager of the Willows Centre, which offers integrated education and care for children aged from three months to five years.

Willows Centre office manager Linda Rickman said the money would go towards improving a sensory room and front garden. She said: ‘When it’s such a big chunk like that it makes such a difference.’
