AN AMBULANCE trust is reminding people to give their medicine cabinet a spring clean this Easter.

South Central Ambulance Service is giving the advice as many people will be enjoying a four-day break from today.

A spokesman said: ‘It’s a good idea to spring clean your medicine cabinet to make sure that your tablets, ointments and sprays for example, are all in date.

‘Beyond your pharmacy, there is a range of treatment options available to you should you sustain a minor injury over Easter.

‘Minor injuries units and walk-in centres can help with sprains and strains, wound infections, minor burns and scalds, minor head injuries, insect and animal bites and minor eye injuries.’

People can also call NHS 111.
