A MUSICAL celebration is being held in honour of a service that grants people their last wish to pass away peacefully at home.

The £1m Dorothy’s Dream hospice at home service is run by The Rowans Hospice.

To celebrate its success, the Voices Concert is being held.

Ruth White, chief executive at the hospice, said: ‘I’m delighted our Voices Concert will mark the celebration of The Rowans hospice at home.

‘The diversity of the performers and programme promises an enjoyable and uplifting evening of entertainment for all.

‘I would like to thank all of them for supporting this event and I hope supporters of our Dorothy’s Dream Appeal will come along and celebrate with us.’

Performances include the Spinnaker Chorus, Solent Male Voice Choir and Pompey Pluckers.

The event takes place on Friday, March 8, at 7.30pm, in Barton Hall, Horndean.

Tickets cost £10. For more information, call (023) 9223 7142 or visit rowanshospice.co.uk/booking.
