THESE firefighters have got themselves into a hairy situation.
They’re spending this month growing their moustaches to raise awareness of men’s cancers as part of Movember.
Firefighter Martin Earl inspired the rest of Cosham Red Watch to support the cause.
He said: ‘It’s all about raising awareness of men’s cancers, such as testicular or prostate.
‘And by growing moustaches is a fun way of doing it.
‘It raises awareness instantly, as people who know you, or see a group of you with moustaches you don’t usually have, they start asking why.
‘It’s a great way to talk about it and also to raise money.
‘My dad and great uncle both died of cancer.
‘Most people will know someone effected by it too, so it’s important to raise awareness of it.’
