NHS patients will benefit from a dental practice opening in Cowplain.

The new practice will be run by Best Practice CDA Ltd, which is currently in temporary accommodation in Bedhampton.

The team will be moving to the £1m Cowplain heath centre, in London Road, which opened last year.

The practice will be located on the second floor of Healthspace South, which offers a mixture of treatments and therapies in the state-of-the-art building.

The team will be providing the full range of dental treatments to patients.

Open days are being held next Thursday and Friday from 9am to 5pm for prospective patients.

Natalie Jones, head of primary care dental commissioning and contracting from the Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Portsmouth Primary Care Trust (SHIP PCT) Cluster, said: ‘Greater access to NHS dentistry in the Cowplain area was identified as a priority, enabling NHS Hampshire to invest in the set-up of the new service in Cowplain, and support the service to provide temporary accommodation in Bedhampton.

‘We’re really pleased that the new practice at Healthspace South will shortly be fully operational.’
