AN online survey has been launched seeking residents’ views on healthy weight and what it means to them.
The survey runs until September 15 and everyone who completes the survey can be entered into a prize draw to win one of ten £10 high street vouchers.
It can be found on the West Sussex County Council website at westsussex.gov.uk under ‘live consultations’ in the ‘have your say’ section.
The survey looks at issues such as healthy living, weight loss services and perceptions of what healthy weight actually is.
Councillor Christine Field, in charge of community well-being, said: ‘Healthy weight can mean different things to different people. There are so many factors as well, such as physical activity, pressures from society, and images from the media to name but a few.’
The results of the survey will be used to help inform commission a countywide management service to offer support to adults, children and young people and their families. The survey is open to all ages.
