AN AWARENESS week is being launched by a patient support group to get feedback on health services.

From Monday, March 31, to Saturday, April 5, Healthwatch Hampshire is running a series of events to get opinions on healthcare in the county.

n On the Monday, members will be in the reception area and League of Friends cafe at the Gosport War Memorial Hospital from 2pm.

Healthwatch wants to find out people’s opinions of the hospital, and play a game to gauge feelings.

n On Tuesday, the group has booked out the Monkey Bizness soft play area in Gosport for members of the Fareham Autistic Spectrum Society.

From 6.30pm to 8.30pm, as children play, parents can have a chance to discuss health services.

n On Wednesday a carers support group coffee meeting is taking place in Whiteley Shopping Centre, to support World Autism Awareness Day

It takes place from 10am to midday.

A stand will also be in the Gosport Discovery Centre.
