YOUNGSTERS and their families enjoyed a fun-packed day at one of the city’s newest care homes.

Residents and staff at Harry Sotnick House in Buckland, hosted a day of activities for their family and friends.

Children enjoyed a teddy bear hunt, bouncy castle and free ice cream. While residents, who are either physically frail or who have dementia, were able to spend time with their families.

Home manager Gary Briggs said: ‘It was a fantastic day, everyone had a lot of fun.

The residents and staff worked hard arranging the event.’

A raffle also took place, with all proceeds going towards the residents’ fund which pays for outings for the 39 men and women living at the home.
