THE GP-led team which will shape future health commissioning for Portsmouth is looking to complete its line-up.

Portsmouth Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is advertising the final two places on its governing body.

It is looking for a registered nurse and a secondary care clinician, such as a hospital doctor.

Dr Tim Wilkinson, chairmain of the governing body, said: ‘These are the final two vacant posts for our board and are very important to help us be truly clinically-led.

‘These are exciting times as we seek to make a real difference to healthcare for the people of Portsmouth, and we will be looking for two people who share our passion and commitment for the many challenges ahead.’

CCGs will take over from primary care trusts as commissioners for healthcare in the city from April 2013.

The closing date for applications is July 31.
