Innovations Fitness in Havant will tackle the Three Peaks challenge on Thursday on behalf of children’s charity Over The Wall (OTW).

George Turner, who owns the personal training and boot camp company, will lead 13 participants in the feat to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales.

The group has been training since April and aims to climb the mountains in three days with the goal of raising money for the charity.

Mr Turner said he has wanted to work with the charity for a long time and hopes to set up more fundraisers for them in the future.

He said: ‘I have been wanting to work with OTW for quite some time now, having seen all the amazing things they do.

‘I have a passion for funding and love working with children so helping a charity like OTW seems the right thing to do.

‘Being a local charity is all the more worth while as my community and help people within it means a great deal to me.’

Over The Wall, which has a branch in Havant, is a national charity, providing free-of-charge residential activity camps to children and young people aged eight to 17 affected by serious and life-limiting illnesses.
