REGISTRATION for the first dance-a-thon to raise money for The Rowans hospice is due to open next month.

The first annual dance contest for the hospice is at Portsmouth Guildhall on Saturday, November 10.

From 6pm to midnight, people will get to take part in six different dance styles, ranging from Zumba to line dancing.

Registration is being opened at Tiger Tiger, in Gunwharf Quays on Friday, September 7.

Ali Corbett, events fundraiser for the Purbrook hospice, said: ‘This is going to be great fun with a party atmosphere.

‘It won’t even feel like a challenge.’

Teams of between two and 10 people aged 16 or over can sign up for £10.

Participants are being told they must raise £100 or more.for the hospice.
