Fundraising walk in Southsea hopes to raise cash for QA robot
THOUSANDS of pounds is hoping to be raised during a walk in aid of a surgical robot.
The event in Southsea will be raising cash for the Da Vinci robot based at Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.
It has been organised for the Rocky Appeal which supports the robot and aims to keep it at the hospital where it has been leased from an American firm.
The walk is on Sunday, May 7 and people can still sign up. It starts in Eastney at 10.30am and finishes at the Still & West pub in Old Portsmouth. For more details call (023) 9228 6487.
