THERE’S still time to get your wellies on and your dogs ready for a fundraising walk.
The Rowans Hospice is holding its third Woofs and Wellies event, which takes place in Stansted Park, Havant.
This year it is being held on Sunday, November 30, and is being sponsored by Sanctuary Vets.
The four-mile walk has a festive theme this year and dog owners are being encouraged to dress themselves and their pooches with Christmas in mind.
It’s an event that always gets tails wagging in joy as each year scores of walkers turn out.
After completing the walk, the doggies will receive a medal and there will be the opportunity to purchase food from the farm shop to warm you up.
Registration is £5 per dog and there is a sponsorship target of £25.
All the money raised from the event will go to the Purbrook hospice, which provides care and support for people in south-east Hampshire affected by life-threatening illnesses.
This year the hospice is celebrating its 20th anniversary and hopes to see more people than ever come and join in the popular charity walk.
