KEEN cyclists across Hampshire are being asked to get on their bikes to support Diabetes UK.

The Prudential Ride London - Surrey 100 challenge takes place this Sunday.

It is a 100-mile bike ride around London and Surrey.

By joining the Diabetes UK team, cyclists will be raising money to provide information and support to local people with diabetes as well as increasing awareness for those undiagnosed.

The event is now in its second year and is Britain’s biggest cycle challenge.

The course passes through some of the capital’s most iconic sights including the Tower Bridge, Big Ben, the London Eye and The Mall as well as up the notoriously tough Box Hill.

All runners will receive a branded cycling jersey. Call 0207 424 1867 or email events.fundraising@diabetes.org.uk.
