A TEAM of physiotherapists is counting the cash after taking part in a sponsored walk to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Sarah Cole and Heather Brann both work as physiotherapy technicians at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, dealing with post-operative breast cancer patients.

The pair, along with five other colleagues, walked 11.5 miles from the Cosham hospital to the former Royal Hospital Haslar site in Gosport, because breast surgery used to be performed there.

The walk had a Strictly Come Dancing theme, which saw the ladies dress up with some glitz and glamour.

Sarah Cole said: ‘Breast cancer is the second biggest cause of death from cancer for women in the UK after lung cancer. We want to do everything we can to raise awareness and money.’
