THE mayor of Havant was left impressed when he was given a tour of a community clinic.

Councillor Paul Buckley, and his wife Jackie enjoyed an hour-long tour of the £3.6m Oak Park Community Clinic, in Lavant Drive, Havant, which opened last December.

Cllr Buckley said: ‘I was involved in the initial planning stages, so it was great to see how the project has ended.

‘It’s a fantastic asset to the population and already very popular.

‘We heard some positive feedback from staff at the clinic and patients seemed comfortable and happy. My wife and I are very impressed.’
