A FREE event to help deal with stress and cope with unexpected problems is being held in Portsmouth.

Talking Change, run by Solent NHS Trust, is a service that teaches techniques for better mental health.

It is running a free one-day event at the Portsmouth Guildhall on Wednesday, January 21, from 10am to 2.30pm.

The day will be broken down in to three separate sessions for people to choose from.

The subjects the workshops will be focusing on are:

- 10am to 11am – Making realistic goals which you can achieve and will make you feel better and happier;

- 11.30am to 12.30pm – Becoming a great planner, learn techniques to keep you on track and to help you stop avoiding difficult situations and 
tasks;

- 1.30pm to 2.30pm – Overcoming unexpected problems.

People do not need to give any personal information, but feedback and discussion on the day are welcome.
