MORE than 40 sports clubs will give demonstrations at the annual Get Active festival.

The event takes place in Oaklands Park, Chichester, on September 7 and will be an opportunity for people of all ages to try sports such as fencing, football, rugby, tennis and rifle shooting.

A paralympic sports zone will give people the opportunity to try sports such as football and boccia.

This year’s festival includes the return of the play zone, the green zone, free mini-healthchecks, an emergency services zone, fun inflatables, arts and crafts and a mobile climbing wall.

For more information or to volunteer at the festival call Chichester District Council on 01243 534799 or email sport@chichester.gov.uk.
